On April 29, 2011, Kate Middleton married Prince William, capturing global attention. Thirteen years later, Olivia Henson is following a similar path by marrying Hugh Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster. Olivia, 31, has drawn comparisons to a young Kate Middleton, now the Princess of Wales, due to their strikingly similar backgrounds.

Both women grew up in the Home Counties with two siblings and attended Marlborough College, where tuition fees are currently £15,665 per term. Unlike Kate, whose mother’s family has connections to the aristocratic Bowes-Lyons, Olivia comes from an even more aristocratic lineage. Olivia is set to become the next Duchess of Westminster, while Kate became the Duchess of Cambridge upon marrying William.

Olivia’s wedding at Chester Cathedral will mirror the high-profile nature of Kate’s wedding at Westminster Abbey. Notable attendees include Prince William as an usher and his son, Prince George, as a pageboy. Despite close ties with Prince Harry, he will not attend due to his rift with William.

Olivia’s aristocratic connections include her mother, Caroline, linked to the Hoare banking family and the Marquess of Bristol. Olivia is also related to John Manners, the 5th Duke of Rutland. Her family history aligns with Kate’s, who shares noble lineage with her husband.

Raised in Longworth, Olivia attended the Dragon School in Oxford and then Marlborough, like Kate. She graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, with a degree in Hispanic studies and Italian. Currently, she works as a senior account manager for Belazu, an ethical food company.

Olivia’s life will change after the wedding as she plans to move to Cheshire with the Duke, with future family plans anticipated. The similarities between Olivia and Kate highlight the continued allure of marrying into aristocracy, blending tradition with modern love stories.
