Kate Middleton’s cancer recovery is progressing well, according to an expert. Prince William’s recent public appearances are intended to signal that the royal family is returning to normal.

The 42-year-old Princess of Wales announced that she is undergoing “preventative chemotherapy” for an undisclosed cancer discovered during abdominal surgery. Following her diagnosis, Prince William, 41, temporarily stepped back from his duties to support her. However, he has since resumed his royal responsibilities, including a visit to a food distribution charity in Surrey and attending a soccer game with their son, Prince George.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams explained that these outings are meant to reassure the public about Kate’s steady recovery and the continuity of royal duties. He noted, “Royals realize that every single thing they do sends a message.”

Princess Kate’s health news comes amid King Charles’s own battle with cancer, further challenging the royal family. In January, Charles announced he would undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate, during which cancer was discovered.

Despite these health challenges, both Kate and Charles are reportedly making progress in their recoveries.
