Princess Beatrice is increasingly providing crucial support to the Royal Family, according to royal commentator Kate Mansey. Writing in the Times, Mansey described Beatrice, 35, as an “unlikely leading lady” expected to support the King and senior family members more frequently in the coming months.

Despite not having official duties or receiving payment, Beatrice has been active in royal engagements. Recently, she read to pupils at West Thornton Primary School as part of Oscar’s Book Club and attended a Buckingham Palace garden party hosted by her cousin Prince William.

King Charles, 74, is gradually returning to duties amid a battle with cancer, while Kate Middleton has stepped back to receive treatment for the disease. Prince William is also expected to reduce appearances to support his family.

Beatrice’s recent live TV appearance on ITV’s This Morning sparked speculation about her potential for more official roles. She discussed her mother Sarah Ferguson’s recovery from skin cancer and highlighted her charity work with Outward Bound. Royal commentator Phil Dampier suggested Beatrice and her sister Eugenie might take on more royal duties, particularly non-controversial roles, to ease the King’s workload.

While Beatrice (pictured while volunteering at at West Thornton Primary School in Croydon as part of Oscar's Book Club) is expected to support The Firm, is not thought that she will undertake official royal duties, or receive any payment for doing so

Beatrice expressed pride in her mother and emphasized the importance of family during health crises. Her increased public presence and involvement in charity work suggest a growing role within the Royal Family.
