Patriots Legend Tom Brady Doubts Chiefs’ Three-Peat Chances

Winning a Super Bowl is tough, and winning three in a row is nearly impossible. Even Tom Brady and the New England Patriots couldn’t achieve a three-peat. Now, the Kansas City Chiefs, led by Andy Reid and featuring stars like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones, are on the verge of attempting this feat next season.

However, Tom Brady remains skeptical. He believes that despite their talent, the Chiefs have weaknesses that could prevent them from achieving a third consecutive Super Bowl victory. “Winning one Super Bowl is extremely difficult. To win two back-to-back, what the Chiefs have done, is nearly impossible. Winning three in a row has never been done for a reason,” Brady said on The Herd.

The Chiefs have faced significant roster changes, including the departures of Willie Gay Jr., L’Jarius Sneed, and Mike Edwards. Still, Brady acknowledges the team’s strengths, including their excellent coaching staff and key players like Mahomes and Kelce. “They have a tremendous coach in Andy Reid and a great quarterback in Patrick Mahomes. Travis Kelce is a great safety blanket, and they’ve got Chris Jones and Steve Spagnuolo on defense,” he added.

Despite his doubts, Brady concedes that the Chiefs are still strong contenders. The question remains: Can the Chiefs defy the odds and secure their place in NFL history with a three-peat by February 2025?
