Meghan Markle has been harshly criticized by Bethenny Frankel, who described her as a “terrible business person” and accused her of “f**king it up” after leaving the royal family. Frankel claimed that Markle is “overplaying her hand” and “painting herself into a corner,” arguing that the Duchess of Sussex lacks strategic business acumen. She stated, “She is a terrible, terrible business person strategist—she’s playing checkers, not chess. She got out of something that was a terrible situation for her and she just, she really is f**king it up.”
Frankel’s remarks come after her previous apology for disparaging comments made about Meghan following the March 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview. Despite initially mocking Meghan’s complaints about royal life, Frankel later expressed regret, acknowledging the emotional distress and racism Markle faced.
In her recent video, Frankel reflected on the backlash she faced for her past comments, including death threats and lost business deals. “It was horrible getting beaten down and trolled for saying something that I read back and thought, ‘is it really that bad what I said?’ And then you do the apology and then it’s not the right apology for everyone. I mean, it was brutal,” she said.
