Everyone’s Loving What Michelle Beadle Said To Harrison Butker

Michelle Beadle has voiced her strong disapproval of Harrison Butker’s recent commencement speech through her podcast. Butker, the veteran kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, has faced significant backlash for his remarks about women’s roles.

Beadle emphasized her right to critique Butker, stating, “As a woman, I think everything he said was garbage. There were women in that audience who clearly didn’t appreciate his comments.

Some have even expressed their dismay, questioning why, after years of hard work, they should be told that their true worth lies in marriage and motherhood. That’s absurd. And yes, it’s also my freedom of speech to strongly disagree with him.”

She supports the idea that while Butker has the right to his opinions, she equally retains the right to respond.

Reactions from sports fans have largely supported Beadle’s stance, with many applauding her frankness:

“Michelle Beadle is spot on here,” commented one fan.

“She’s right, and she should say it,” noted another on X.

“Michelle Beadle for the win,” tweeted another fan.

“Correct…now let’s move on,” another social media user chimed in.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs organization, including head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, have expressed that respecting differing opinions doesn’t require agreement with them.

Despite the controversy, it appears unlikely that Butker’s speech will affect the Chiefs’ performance this upcoming season.
