Thomas Markle has unleashed a scathing criticism of Meghan and Prince Harry, accusing them of insulting the Queen and the British people in their dispute over the Sussex Royal brand. Speaking to TMZ from his home in Mexico, Markle expressed deep frustration, stating, “I’m very upset with Harry and Meghan right now. [They] don’t have a right to speak to the Queen the way they’ve spoken to her. I think it’s an insult to the Queen and the British people.”

Markle, who has been outspoken about his strained relationship with his daughter since being excluded from her 2018 wedding, criticized Meghan for cutting him off and now distancing herself from the royal family. The dispute over the Sussex Royal brand escalated recently when the Queen intervened, prompting Harry and Meghan to confirm they would not use the term “royal.”

The couple’s decision not to use Sussex Royal was outlined in a detailed statement on their website, where they also expressed frustrations about perceived unequal treatment compared to other royals. Despite these tensions, Harry and Meghan are expected to return to the UK for their final royal engagements in March, including appearances at the Endeavour Fund awards and the Mountbatten Festival of Music.

Currently residing on Vancouver Island, the couple has agreed to repay public funds used for renovations on their Frogmore Cottage home and have relinquished the use of their HRH titles for commercial purposes. Their future business endeavors and global presence continue to stir public and familial scrutiny, further complicating their already contentious departure from royal duties.
