The Kansas City Chiefs are a polarizing team in the NFL, loved and hated for various reasons. Recently, kicker Harrison Butker drew attention during the team’s White House visit to celebrate their 2024 Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers. Despite controversy over his comments about women, Butker attended the event, surprising many.

Butker faced backlash for remarks made during a commencement speech where he suggested women are more excited about marriage and children. Critics labeled his views as misogynistic, doubting he could maintain a relationship. However, Butker’s views stem from his faith, and he has been married to his wife Isabelle since 2018. They met in middle school band class and began dating in high school, attending prom together.
