Kate Middleton Takes a Break After Cancer Diagnosis

Showing her competitive streak, the princess sprinted down the track in a red quilted jacket, black jeans and trainers

Following her cancer diagnosis in March, the Princess of Wales has kept a low profile. However, recent sightings suggest she’s on the mend and spending more time with family.

Swinging like a natural, Kate enjoyed a game of cricket with India's former captain Sachin Tendulka in 2016

Known for her active lifestyle, Kate has participated in various sports in the past, including abseiling, tennis, sailing, football, and even a race with Prince William and Harry. Here’s a look back at some of her sporty moments:

Abseiling: Kate showcased her skills during visits with Air Cadets and the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team.

Tennis: She impressed US Open champion Emma Raducanu with her forehand during a doubles match.

Sailing: Kate skippered a boat in a charity regatta alongside Prince William and their children.Despite being seen with face of fierce concentration as she worked with her team, she came last in the race and was awarded a giant wooden spoon, much to her amusement

Football: She joined school children for a kickabout during a visit to Belfast.

Running: In a competitive moment, Kate raced Prince William and Harry during training for the London Marathon.

Cricket: She enjoyed a game with Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Hockey: Kate played hockey at her alma mater, St Andrew’s School.

Perhaps not best dressed for a competitive sports game, the princess was wearing a tweed coat and high heeled boots but did not let her outfit choice stop her

Royal fans hope to see the Princess of Wales return to her active lifestyle soon.
