Colorado Defensive Back Shilo Sanders Faces $12 Million Lawsuit

Colorado Buffaloes’ defensive back, Shilo Sanders, is currently embroiled in a legal battle, facing a lawsuit for nearly $12 million. Son of Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, Shilo made a promising debut in Boulder, but his financial stability is now under scrutiny as the looming lawsuit threatens his future.

According to reports from Denver Westworld, Sanders has filed for bankruptcy in an attempt to evade the $11.89 million judgment against him. In his bankruptcy disclosure, Shilo stated possession of assets worth approximately $325,000.

The judgment, stemming from a 2015 incident, alleges that Sanders assaulted a high school security guard in Texas. Moreover, Coach Prime, as Deion Sanders is known, has been accused of orchestrating a cover-up by obtaining footage to shield his son from legal consequences.

Although the lawsuit was filed in the subsequent year, Shilo Sanders failed to appear in court, resulting in the plaintiff being awarded the substantial sum.

The aggrieved security guard asserts that the Colorado football star has yet to fulfill the judgment, raising further legal complications for Sanders.

As the legal battle ensues, Shilo Sanders finds himself at the center of financial and legal turmoil, casting a shadow over his promising football career.
