Evander Kane’s ex-wife, Anna Kane, has stirred controversy by sending a provocative message to Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk amid the Stanley Cup final series between the Panthers and her ex-husband’s team, the Edmonton Oilers.

With the Panthers leading 3-0 after a 4-3 win in Game 3, Anna Kane sent Tkachuk a message via Instagram, suggesting, “If you really want to make him mad let me know,” accompanied by a winking emoji with its tongue out. She further escalated the situation by posting a screenshot of the message to her Instagram Story.

Anna and Evander Kane’s marriage, which began in 2018, ended in turmoil two years later. They have two children, one of whom passed away shortly after birth. Their surviving daughter, Kensington Ava, lives with Evander following a court ruling granting him full custody.

Anna has made various allegations against Evander, including abuse and betting infringements, but the courts have generally sided with him. Evander successfully obtained a restraining order against her, barring her from attending his games.

Despite Anna’s attempts to provoke him, the Oilers bounced back with an 8-1 victory in Game 4, extending the series. Evander Kane, sidelined with hernia issues, will miss the upcoming Game 5 on Tuesday.
