Dwayne Johnson claims that the work on “Moana 2’s” Maui segment is finished.

The actor posted a number of pictures of himself and his daughter in a recording studio on Instagram on Monday.

In the popular Disney movie, Johnson, a father of three girls, portrays the gregarious demigod Maui.

CEO of the Walt Disney Company Bob Iger revealed in February that a follow-up to the 2016 film will be released in November. There was a dramatic picture and video teaser for the announcement.

Disney shared a new still in April from the sequel of “Moana” with the title character paddling on a boat in the ocean with a determined look on her face and what appears to be a strange set of eyes peering out from the background.

The animated musical will take Moana on “an expansive journey in search of people beyond the shores of Motunui,” according to a press release.

According to the press release, “Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”

Johnson will be joined in providing the voice of Moana by Auli’i Cravalho.
