A somber-looking Brad Pitt was spotted in Los Angeles on Tuesday – just hours after his ex-wife Angelina Jolie filed explosive court documents accusing him of having ‘choked’ one of their six children during a drunken fight on a private jet, hit another in the face, and slammed the actress against a wall while grabbing her hair.

Jolie, 48, claimed that their marriage broke down on the September 2016 flight during which Pitt, 58, was allegedly ‘physically and emotionally abusive to Jolie and their children, who were then between the ages of eight and 15,’ court documents read.

She says that Pitt attacked her verbally after accusing her of being ‘too deferential to the children’ and 90 minutes later began yelling at her, pushing her against a bathroom wall and striking the ceiling of the plane.

Pitt is accused of pouring beer and wine on his family during the fracas, and previous reports claim Jolie told her then-husband to ‘sober-up’ as the mid-air drama unfolded.

When one of the children came to Jolie’s defense amid further verbal insults, Pitt allegedly turned on them, injuring Jolie as she tried to intervene. Jolie’s claim suggested that Pitt choked one of the children and hit another.

Pitt admitted to yelling at the children in 2016, but denied hitting them. A source close to Pitt meanwhile accused Jolie of manipulating the narrative to ‘get what she wants’, telling DailyMail.com that ‘her story is constantly evolving’ and that she is ‘adding completely untrue information’.

The latest accusations made by Jolie come as the pair continue to fight a legal battle over the September 2021 sale of her share of the French winery they jointly owned.

Pitt says she had no right to sell out. Jolie argues that she offered it to him and a $54.5 million deal was reached – but he pulled out when she mentioned the grim private jet episode during their custody battle.

On Tuesday the Oscar-winning actor, dressed in head-to-toe denim and white sneakers, was seen rapidly exiting a business compound in Los Angeles.

Jolie meanwhile, was on the other side of the country in New York City with their daughter Zahara, 17.
