Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, the 15-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is now just “Vivienne Jolie.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Vivienne appears to drop dad's last name

According to multiple reports, the Playbill for the Broadway production of The Outsiders — which the Maleficent actress, 48, and her daughter produced — shows the youngest member of the Jolie-Pitt clan has opted to stop using her father’s last name five years after the Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-stars finalized their divorce. It’s unclear if the decision is stylistic for Vivienne or if she has legally changed her name, as well.

Brad, 60, and Angelina — who went by the portmanteau “Brangelina” during their 12-year relationship — share six children in total: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, Vivienne, and her twin brother, Knox, 15.

Zahara — the former couple’s eldest daughter — has also indicated a change in her name following her parents’ divorce, dropping “Pitt” as she joined a sorority at Spelman College in November 2023. The 19-year-old, who was sweetly dropped off at the HBCU in 2022 by her mom, could be seen in video shared by Essence, pledging into the Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority and announcing herself simply as “Zahara Marley Jolie.”Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Daughter Vivienne Credited Without Dad's Last Name in 'The Outsiders' Playbill | Entertainment Tonight

The news of Vivienne’s name change being featured in The Outsiders Playbill comes weeks after the April premiere at the Jacobs Theater in New York, which Vivienne and Angelina attended together. The mother-daughter duo smiled and posed together for photos as they arrived to celebrate the opening, months after they were first announced to be helping to bring the show to Broadway.

In August, ET learned that the pair would produce together after seeing a production of the play at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego in 2023, a source said, adding that it’s an exciting project for the mom and daughter who share a love of musical theater and the arts.

In a statement to ET, Angelina gave her own reasoning for boarding the production and bringing along Vivienne.

“Viv reminds me of my mother [Marcheline Bertrand] in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention but in being a support to other creatives,” Angelina said. “She’s very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute.”

The collaboration between Angelina and Vivienne is just one of numerous projects the Girl, Interrupted star has done with her children. She previously worked with Maddox and Pax on the upcoming film Without Blood, which she directed and her sons are featured in.

Angelina and Brad — who announced their split in 2016 — continue to fight in the courts over their children and their assets, including their French winery, Château Miraval. Most recently, a former security guard for the actors alleged that Angelina attempted to drive a wedge between Brad and their kids.

In court documents obtained by ET in early May, lawyers for Brad claimed that one of their former security guards, Tony Webb — who currently works for the actor — was told that the actress instructed her children not to speak to their father during custody visits. Claims made by the Moneyball actor’s attorneys also alleged Angelina would threaten security guards into silence through the use of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

That filing came a month after Angelina’s lawyers claimed in court docs that Brad was “physically abusive” toward her during their relationship. She previously alleged that he injured her and verbally abused their children in a 2016 incident on a plane, which she has said was the impetus for her filing for divorce. The Oscar-winning actor was never charged with a crime after an investigation by authorities into the allegations.
