On March 1st, according to Pagesix, Justin Bieber removed information about the remaining shows for the year from his website and stopped selling concert tickets via Ticketmaster. The singer from the south declined to answer media questions.
Back in June 2022, the voice behind “Yummy” had to take a break from performing after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome – a condition causing facial paralysis. After consulting with doctors, Bieber returned and performed for six nights before continuing to postpone the tour. According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome occurs when the shingles virus affects a person’s ear, potentially leading to facial paralysis and hearing loss. Without prompt treatment, patients may experience complications like permanent deafness.
Justin Bieber has faced numerous health issues in recent years. In early 2020, the singer revealed having gone through tough times battling various illnesses. Bieber wrote on his personal page: “While a lot of people kept saying Justin Bieber looks like shit, on meth etc. they failed to realize I’ve been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health.”
In a video posted on his social media in September 2022, the singer reassured fans about his health condition, stating that he just needed more rest time. He had to undergo physical therapy exercises to fully restore his face to its normal state.
Born in 1994, Justin Bieber is a renowned Canadian singer, one of the best-selling music artists worldwide. Throughout his 14-year career, he has received numerous awards, including 22 Guinness World Records, accolades such as Grammy, AMAs, Billboard, MTV VMAs…
