In an interview with Digital Spy, Lady Gaga admitted to initially pursuing an acting career, but later became a singer. It seems like the right decision as Lady Gaga is now not only a famous singer but also one of the most influential artists for young people. Talking about the reason for her decision to change her direction, the 32-year-old star said: “I always wanted to be an actress but I was really bad at auditions. Whether it was for supporting roles or commercials, I just couldn’t act. When I realized I didn’t have the ability to be an actress, I decided to focus on writing music and becoming a singer.”

However, from an artist who “couldn’t act,” the voice behind “Million Reasons” completely transformed when she joined the cast of A Star Is Born directed by Bradley Cooper. Before the film’s release, many doubted the singer’s acting abilities, fearing she would be overshadowed by the huge shadow of star Barbra Streisand in the 1976 version.
