Caitlin Clark is certainly bonding nicely with her new teammates.
During a photo shoot before the 2024 WNBA season began, Caitlin Clark was left in stitches by her teammates of the Indiana Fever, who were making her wear some of their chains in jest.
The video of the 21-year-old Clark laughing and interacting with her professional basketball teammates was posted by the Indiana Fever on Wednesday. Since being selected as the first overall choice on April 15, Clark has been settling into her new home.
Before biting them, Clark is seen in the video wearing two to three golden or silver chains that have the Nos. 1 and 17 pennants. Throughout her four seasons at Iowa, she wore the latter.
For a portion of the photo shoot, Clark was loaned the diamond chains by colleague NaLyssa Smith and former WNBA all-star Erica Wheeler.
Despite having played no competitive basketball as of yet, the Fever has gotten off to a strong start. The chemistry is off the charts, which may be advantageous when the season premieres. They play their first preseason game on Friday and will open the season on the road on May 14 against the Connecticut Sun, via WNBA.com.
Caitlin Clark’s Transition To The WNBA Made Easier With Teaming Up With Aliyah Boston

Last season, the Indiana Fever had a terrible season, but it landed the number one pick.
With the No. 1 overall pick from the 2024 draft in Caitlin Clark teaming up with Aliyah Boston, the No. 1 pick from last year’s draft, and WNBA Rookie of the Year, many are expecting the Fever to do big things.
Clark’s transition from the college game to the pros should be made much easier since she has a dominant player like Boston, who will garner a lot of attention on offense that can free her up to do her thing.
