Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever finally had their rematch against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky after a drama-filled matchup at the beginning of June.
In the first game, Indiana won 71-70.
Before she hit the court, Clark showed up to the game wearing a stunning denim Prada outfit.
She even took some time to pose for the cameras before making her inside the locker room.
Here is how social media reacted to it:
Tough crowd.
As Caitlin Clark continues to navigate her way as a rookie in the league, she is averaging 16.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game, according to ESPN.com.
Caitlin Clark overcame another physical challenge from the Chicago Sky en route to a 91-83 victory.
Clark erupted for a game-high 23 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists while shooting 7-11 from the field.
Angel Reese Assessed Flagrant Foul After Hitting Caitlin Clark In The Head While Taking Shots During Postgame Press Conference
In the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Indiana Fever, Angel Reese was assessed a flagrant-1 foul after making contact with Caitlin Clark’s head during a block attempt.
Reese, who scored 11 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists, made a “special whistle” comment that seemed directed toward Clark, who also shot a game-high six free throws.
The Sky rookie also criticized the officials, claiming their calls were not consistent.
“For inside, I think we were playing really hard. I think we went up strong a lot of times and we didn’t get a lot of calls,” Reese said. “Going back and looking at the film, I’ve seen a lot of calls that weren’t made. I guess some people got a special whistle.
“I’m still proud of Kamilla [Cardoso] going out and still getting a double-double. That’s something y’all are not going to be able to stop, regardless of the referees. We’re here for a while. We’re not going to be denied, no matter what you guys try to do. But, our goal is to win, and we’re going to do whatever it takes to win.”
