The Indiana Fever’s ace is the most popular player in the WNBA at the moment
Adam Levine, the controversial star lead of Maroon Five, surprised fans at his concert in Indiana by modelling as a Fever player, none other than Caitlin Clark, although he admitted there was one major challenge in his special costume.
Clark is the most popular player in the WNBA right now after smashing the NCAA points record before being selected as the overall first pick of the draft and she’s attracted a brand new audience to watch women’s basketball.
But it seems as though even celebrities are beginning to notice her attention as Levine took to the stage at the Ruoff Music Center in Nobelsville to pay tribute to the 22-year-old ace by wearing a jersey of hers, but, even for someone with all of his money, it’s far from easy to get one.
“This was a hard f**king jersey to get,” Levine told fans who gathered for the Maroon 5 concert. That’s not surprising as her jerseys all sold out when they were released to the public, highlighting the insane popularity of the star at the moment.Clark turns up the heat in Indiana
After a challenging start to her debut season as a professional basketballer, Clark finally seems to be getting to grips with life at the top as she’s significantly contributed to the Indiana Fever‘s incredible recent form.
Clark and her team have currently won six of their last eight games and are currently on an excellent run of four in a row to catapult them back into contention for the Eastern Conference’s postseason picture.
In that time they’ve not failed to shoot 88 points or more whilst Clark has combined for 64 points, 28 rebounds and 28 assists in the run as she finally begins to tap into the standards she was expected to be hitting in the WNBA.
Will she continue that run against the Chicago Sky on June 23? The game gets underway at 16:00 ET/13:00 PT.
