Prince William is ‘entering his statesman era’ according to a legion of royal fans on social media.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), admirers of the Prince of Wales commented on how the royal has been performing on the world stage recently.
William, 41, has been more in the spotlight than ever while his father King Charles, 75, receives cancer treatment.
Last week, he represented Great Britain during an international commemorative ceremony at Omaha Beach marking the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, standing alongside other royals as well as world leaders, which prompted some to refer to him as a statesman.
The swooning comments from royal fans were further fuelled on Tuesday when the Prince and Princess of Wales‘s X account shared a snap of him travelling to Cardiff by train.

Speaking on X after Prince William’s appearance during the D-Day commemorations, one person said: ‘Dude prince William is a whole statesman and rock star in one.’
Then, sharing the photo of the royal on the train, another X user wrote: ‘Loving Prince William in his Statesman Era. Taken this morning on the way to Cardiff.’
A further poster added: ‘Prince William is a great Statesman.’
And a fourth agreed, writing: ‘Prince William is not only the heir, a Statesman, but has star power!! He is very well liked and respected.’
Speaking earlier this week, following his June 6 appearance in France, one X user wrote: ‘Prince William is a true statesman, regal respectfully and a wonderful future king.’
Other recent comments about the Prince entering his ‘statesman era’ included an X post saying: ‘Prince William, representing The King, joined world leaders and veterans from around the world in marking the 80th D-Day anniversary. A little compilation of some of the pics of him carrying out his duty yesterday made me realize they were not wrong in calling him A Statesman!’
Following his appearance in France, one X user described the 41-year-old royal as a ‘statesman and rock star’
Meanwhile, sharing the image of the Prince on the train, another said they were ‘loving’ him in his ‘statesman era’
In the same vein, another wrote: ‘Prince William is perfectly poised, clearly knows why he is there to honour the bravery of so many. He is every bit the Statesman, Man and King of the future. No posing, no self centeredness.’
And a further poster added: ‘Prince William is a whole statesman and no one can tell me otherwise!!!’
Speaking in agreement, a further X user wrote: ‘William is indeed a man to be reckoned with, he is a statesman, distinguished, and no fool. One of the most handsome man out there, he carries himself with pride and humility at the same time.’
Meanwhile, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams also described the heir as a statesman.
Numerous fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise the royal, citing his poise and ‘star power’, describing the Prince as ‘well liked’
He told Newsweek: ‘William has long been regarded as the perfect diplomat. It was he who was chosen as the first royal to pay an official visit to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories in 2018, which he carried out superbly.
‘Last year he made a surprise visit to British troops on the border with Ukraine. He also made a plea for a permanent peace in Gaza in February.’
He added that the Prince is a ‘fine public speaker’, and praised the speech William gave during the official Canadian celebrations of the 80th anniversary of D-Day last week.
Fitzwilliams described the address as ‘superb’.
He also noted that attending the event alongside 24 world leaders was a ‘significant moment’ for the royal, who was representing the King amid his cancer treatment.
