Her Junior year allowed her to shine at UConn, the Huskies were without their star player Paige Bueckers for most of the season, and in her absence, Nika became the team’s most important player.

In November 2022, Nika Muhl set a program record with 15 assists in a single game against NC State. She ranks second nationwide among female college basketball players for assists, trailing Caitlin Clark by just 2. Additionally, Muhl’s scoring abilities make her a formidable offensive threat when left unchecked.
