In response to a false report, Selena pointed out that she’s ‘never’ even met the grandson of the former U.S. president.
Selena Gomez has had enough of the persistent false rumors, especially the ones involving her alleged relationship with John “Jack” Schlossberg. Addressing claims of a romantic involvement with John F. Kennedy’s grandson, the 31-year-old actress took to social media to set the record straight.
Recently, an Instagram post circulated a screenshot of a message alleging, “According to a few tabloids, Selena Gomez and John Kennedy Schlossberg had an affair from 2020 to 2021. The grandson of the U.S. president John Kennedy offered her the White House, and she fell for it.”
In response, Selena swiftly commented, “Never met this human sorry,” effectively dispelling the unfounded rumor. Meanwhile, John, 31, has yet to publicly address the erroneous report.
Amidst these rumors, Selena has been basking in her relationship with boyfriend Benny Blanco. Their bond started as collaborators on her music projects over the years, blossoming into romance in mid-2023. Despite keeping their relationship low-key, the Only Murders in the Building star officially confirmed their romance in December 2023.
Since then, the “Same Old Love” artist and the 36-year-old record producer have been generously sharing glimpses of their love with fans. In January, Benny accompanied Selena as her date to the Golden Globe Awards. She shared a tender moment from the evening on her Instagram Story, posting a picture of them kissing with the caption, “I won,” despite not receiving an award that night.
