The popstar gave her stamp of approval on Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s hilarious rendition of her classic ‘Red’ song about ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer.’
Taylor Swift expressed her delight over Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s rendition of her iconic song “All Too Well” during their Saturday Night Live monologue on April 13. The 34-year-old popstar praised the actors for their interpretation of the track from her album “Red,” which they cleverly altered to reference Barbie and Oppenheimer. Taylor even joked that she might find herself mixing up the lyrics when performing the song on tour.
Sharing the clip of Ryan, 43, and Emily, 41, on her social media platforms, Taylor gave them a shoutout, exclaiming, “All too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version)!!! Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour.” She added, “This monologue is EVERYTHING,” along with hand-heart and clapping emojis.

During the monologue, Ryan took to the piano to pay homage to his Barbie alter ego, serenading the audience with a heartfelt rendition of a song dedicated to Ken, set to the melody of “All Too Well.” He reminisced about Ken’s traits while expressing a longing for his former role. “I left my rollerblades in that big, pink house, but I still have that fur coat, and I’ll wear it proudly,” he crooned. “If I claimed I was doing alright, you’d see through the facade, because I was Ken, and now I’m just Ryan.”
Just as Ryan was getting into the groove, Emily made a surprise entrance to remind him of their upcoming film collaboration, The Fall Guy. “Guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Ryan, you’ve got to let go,” she advised. Despite his attempts to resume the song, the A Quiet Place star returned to emphatically declare, “Ken is no more,” before playfully breaking a bottle over his head.
Ryan then said that Ken would’ve thought that being a stuntman is “cool,” and despite Emily’s best efforts to get him to stop, the actor spoke about the “Barbenheimmer” phenomenon surrounding both movies. “Don’t you ever miss it?” he asked.
The pair then launched into a duet version of “All Too Well” about both movies. “There were are again, back in 2023. It was the Barbenheimer summer. It was just you and me,” they sang. “Now it’s time to wish Ken farewell. We were Kitty and Ken, and I wish you could’ve seen us.”
