Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has always been vocal about her absence from the social media world. She believes it’s a distraction and explained that her only focus is on the game of basketball and what happens inside the lines. Smack talk, social media backlash, and TV debates aren’t on Clark’s mind.

She said that apps like Instagram and X are deleted or muted at all times. The rookie rarely views the latest news online, but a post interaction she recently had on Instagram is turning heads.

Clark liked a photo, which is extremely rare in her case, of Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday and his wife, Lauren.

ESPN posted a slideshow of Holiday’s journey to his second NBA title trophy. They talked about his arrival in Boston after being traded from the Milwaukee Bucks and ultimately finding his way to Boston, where they secured the 2024 NBA Championship over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.

Holiday’s wife was a huge part of his NBA career. ESPN called them “One of the strongest couples in sports.” Lauren is a two-time Olympic gold medalist for the United States women’s soccer team. She retired to start a family with Jrue, and the two quickly had to battle through Lauren’s benign brain tumor.

She ultimately had the tumor removed, and the Holiday family were back on their feet. Clark seemed to love the heartwarming story of a family that fought through adversity and came out on the winning end.

In a world of negative comments and posts, Clark always seems to focus on the light.
