Star of Hollywood Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson danced on stage at the Walt Disney Studios presentation during CinemaCon.

Held at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum in Las Vegas on Wednesday, the star-studded guest list included Amy Poehler and Anthony Mackie.

At the presentation, Dwayne, 51, went over and beyond to promote Moana 2, his upcoming movie.

The Polynesian dancing troupe Nonosina joined him on stage, fitting perfectly with the historical Polynesian background of the Moana paintings.


The former professional wrestler’s strikingly muscular physique was flaunted in a tight white tank top.

He was accompanied onstage by the Polynesian dance troupe Nonosina, in keeping with the ancient Polynesian setting of the Moana pictures

He could be seen whirling energetically through his choreography, in front of a phalanx of backup dancers in traditional dress

He was spotted energetically spinning through his choreography while flanked by a sizable contingent of traditional-dressed support dancers.

“As we say on the island, aloha,” continued Dwayne, who is also of Polynesian descent through his Samoan mother Mataniufeagaimaleata “Ata” Fitisemanu.

He went on, “Playing the role of Maui is one of the most life-changing experiences and life-changing roles for me,” as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

CinemaCon’s organising body, the National Association of Theatre Owners, presented Dwayne with an award during the occasion.

Presenting the prize was Bob Bagby, who became the organization’s executive board chair in October of last year, together with co-chairman of Disney Entertainment Alan Bergman.

When Dwayne got off stage, he carried his prize proudly and gave the camera a big smile.

He was able to socialise a little with members of the elite, such as Alan Bergman and David Greenbaum, president of Disney Live Action.

Anthony Mackie, a longtime Marvel staple and the star of the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World, was also present at the function.

The hot Hollywood star made an excellent impression in a modern fossil grey suit that was tastefully paired with a textured off-white pullover.

Kevin Feige, the CEO of Marvel Studios, slapped hands with Anthony when he came on stage to promote his upcoming Captain America film.

Kevin was joined onstage by Shawn Levy, the director of the highly anticipated upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine, during the lively Disney event.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, two of the biggest matinee idols in the world, play the titular characters in Shawn’s crossover picture; Jackman was not present at CinemaCon.
