Earlier this year, Angel Reese fell victim to explicit photos being generated of her through the use of AI. Following similar incidents involving other top stars in women’s basketball, the recent top draft pick came to their defense.
The issue of NSFW photos being created of celebrities using AI has been ongoing, with recent targets including No. 1 WNBA draft pick Caitlin Clark and UConn star Paige Bueckers.

It’s worth noting that all three of these women are still young. Reese will turn 22 in May, while Clark and Bueckers are already that age. As two of them prepare to embark on their professional careers, they must grapple with fake explicit photos of themselves going viral online.
In addition to Reese’s vocal stance, many fans have also voiced their opposition to the creation and dissemination of such images across social media platforms.
Angel Reese reacts to explicit AI photos being made of her
As previously mentioned, Angel Reese is no stranger to this situation. Before Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers, explicit AI-generated photos of her were circulating.
In March, Reese once again utilized social media to make her voice heard. Witnessing these fake photos circulating online, she shared her thoughts on such actions. Reese openly admitted that it’s uncomfortable and she dislikes being objectified in this manner.

Side news of Reese:
In 2022, Angel Reese made a splash when she transferred from Maryland to LSU. Not only did she become one of the highest earners in NIL deals in college sports, but she also made an immediate impact on the court. In her debut season at LSU, Reese played a pivotal role in leading her team to a national championship victory.
Following a stellar senior season, where she boasted averages of 18.6 points and 13.6 rebounds, Reese faced a tough decision. She had to choose between staying in college for another year or declaring for the 2024 WNBA draft. Ultimately, Reese opted for the latter, where she emerged as a top pick.
Reese became one of the two prospects selected by the Chicago Sky in the top-10. After choosing Kamilla Cardoso as the third overall pick, they secured the LSU star a few picks later, at No. 7.
