The issue of NSFW photos being created of celebrities using AI has been ongoing, with recent targets including No. 1 WNBA draft pick Caitlin Clark and UConn star Paige Bueckers.

Having experienced the ordeal firsthand, Angel Reese took to social media to express her thoughts on the matter. She’s advocating for more measures to be taken to protect young female athletes.

It’s worth noting that all three of these women are still young. Reese will turn 22 in May, while Clark and Bueckers are already that age. As two of them prepare to embark on their professional careers, they must grapple with fake explicit photos of themselves going viral online.

In addition to Reese’s vocal stance, many fans have also voiced their opposition to the creation and dissemination of such images across social media platforms.

As previously mentioned, Angel Reese is no stranger to this situation. Before Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers, explicit AI-generated photos of her were circulating.

In March, Reese once again utilized social media to make her voice heard. Witnessing these fake photos circulating online, she shared her thoughts on such actions. Reese openly admitted that it’s uncomfortable and she dislikes being objectified in this manner.

Not only did she become one of the highest earners in NIL deals in college sports, but she also made an immediate impact on the court. Reese became one of the two prospects selected by the Chicago Sky in the top-10. After choosing Kamilla Cardoso as the third overall pick, they secured the LSU star a few picks later, at No. 7.
