The draft night unfolded just as how many fans and analysts predicted: Clark was selected No. 1 by the Indiana Pacers. Her former teammate, Kate Martin, was selected by the Las Vegas Aces. Marshall did not declare for the drafts, the Hawkeyes guard only attended the draft to support her friends.

After the exciting night, Clark and Co. partied the night away with each other. Marshall uploaded a short video to her Instagram stories.
#2. Clark, Marshall, and Martin mark the end of an era
Despite losing against the South Carolina Gamecocks in the final NCAA tournament, Clark and her teammates changed the scenario of college women’s basketball. Clark and Marshall both of them acknowledged the impact they had on fans. Marshall especially talked about the journey the three took with each other.
“We’ve been together for so long, we’ve been through it together,” Marshall said as per Yahoo! Sports. “The ups and the downs, everything in between. I think just having those moments on and off the court to just build the chemistry between the three of us and Coach Bluder.”

The two-time John R. Wooden Women’s Player of the Year hosted an episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’ on April 13. When the show ended, she invited Gabbie Marshall, Kate Martin, and Jada Gymfi to the stage.
This shows that the star hooper likes to include her fellow mates in all the activities she does.
#4. A vacation to the Amalfi Coast
In August 2023, Gabbie and Clark vacationed on the Amalfi Coast with their friends. Photos showed them smiling for the camera and sharing hearty laughter.
#5 Clark backed up Marshall
The Hawkeyes played against the UConn Huskies in the Final Four game of the NCAA tournament. Iowa was able to win against their rival but they received much criticism for a controversial foul that took place at the ending moments of the game. Gabbie became the subject of criticism but Caitlin Clark defended her teammate and complimented her for contributing to the game.
“Gabbie Marshall comes up with big plays all the time, you see it time and time again for us,” Caitlin Clark said. “She doesn’t get enough credit.”
“And I thought Gabbie played great defense on her. When Paige made tough baskets, Gabbie responded, kept guarding her. I’m really proud of her and I’m proud of our group for just being able to flip the page and move on to the next play.”
