Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum is making waves online after teaming up with rapper Sexy Redd.
Tatum has risen to prominence as one of the NBA’s most prominent figures since being drafted as the third overall pick in 2017. With four All-Star selections and two All-NBA First Team honors under his belt, Tatum has been instrumental in keeping the Celtics competitive in recent years. His performances have propelled the team to the NBA Finals and the Eastern Conference Finals in the last two seasons.
The 25-year-old was recently spotted with a rising star on the hip-hop scene in Sexyy Red, who posed for photos with him. While he kept a smile on his face, it did appear that he was feeling a bit awkward.

In the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, Tatum earned the MVP title. Last season, he boasted impressive averages of 30.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. The Boston Celtics battled the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, pushing the series to seven games. In a remarkable feat, they nearly became the first team in history to win a playoff series after trailing 3-0.
Boston’s recent history includes five appearances in the conference finals over the past seven years. Now, with stars like Tatum and Jaylen Brown in their primes, the team seeks to surpass this barrier and make further strides towards championship contention.
Will this relationship with Sexy Redd boost Tatum in the NBA Playoffs? Only time will tell!
