LSU sensation Angel Reese has been a remarkable change-maker who has continuously proved that the sporting world can successfully cross over with the fashion industry.
In fact, her presence at various events and even casual outings effortlessly garners attention. Moreover, her numerous NIL deals bolster the notion that she is deeply engaged in the fashion sphere. But does the NCAA champion aspire to pursue it as a serious side venture?
Not surprisingly, the answer is yes! However, not merely as a sideline. As she gears up to etch her name into the record books for another potential championship trophy, Reese has also laid out plans far in advance.
While talking to the host Matt James on the ‘Riser Diaries’ podcast, the Bayou Barbie unraveled her alternate career choice if she wasn’t in hooping.
She told the host, “I would be modeling. I’d probably be overseas somewhere. Probably like London or Paris or something.”
Adding a tinge of humor in between, the proud pet parent added, “I can see myself shopping with my Yorkie.”
The 21-year-old consistently captivates her fans with her confident demeanor in everything she discusses. Undoubtedly, her past fashion statements have garnered attention and suggest that she could excel in the industry.
Who knows, perhaps she will pursue it someday, especially considering her appearances for the Women’s Health cover shoot.
Until then, it appears that the 2024 SEC Player of the Year is gearing up to fulfill her European dream, as she reveals her travel plans to the host. Where might we anticipate spotting this basketball star in the near future?
Angel Reese discloses her not-so-secret passion
The vibrant athlete has demonstrated interest in various facets of the fashion world, so spotting her in the front row of a fashion show in Milan wouldn’t be surprising news.
Continuing the discussion on Reese’s potential alternate career, James inquired if this shopping excursion was a spontaneous manifestation or a premeditated plan.
The Lady Tiger replied, “I’ve put that on my vision board. I want to go to Paris this year and I probably wanna go to Fashion Week in Paris.” However, the Bayou Barbie added that she may not be able to make it this year, possibly due to the intense competition heating up in women’s college basketball.
While it’s uncertain whether Reese’s fans will find her strolling European streets anytime soon, one place they can certainly catch her is on the court.
Following a heartbreaking loss at the SEC tournament to their conference rivals South Carolina, fans can now anticipate the Lady Tigers igniting the competition in March Madness.
