On June 1st, Princess Kate dazzled in an Elie Saab dress as she accompanied Prince William to the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and architect Rajwa Alseif at Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan. Kate wore a long-sleeved blush pink dress adorned with intricate lace patterns and elaborate folds by the Lebanese designer.
The 41-year-old princess let her curly hair cascade down one side, paired with prominent gold and gemstone earrings, and carried a sparkling gold clutch. Prince William complemented her look in a blue suit with a matching tie.
Upon arrival, the couple received a warm welcome from King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan. Kate graciously greeted the Jordanian royals, while William enthusiastically shook hands and celebrated the occasion with the Middle Eastern royal family.
Other royals in attendance included Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Princess Victoria of Sweden, Princess Hisako of Japan, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, King Philippe of Belgium, and the King and Queen of the Netherlands. Princess Beatrice, William’s cousin, also attended with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, wearing a light blue sequined dress.
The wedding ceremony began with the arrival of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, followed by the bridegroom. Rajwa Alseif arrived in a 1968 Rolls-Royce Phantom V, previously used by Prince Charles III and Queen Camilla during their visit to Jordan in 2021. Prince Hashem escorted the bride to the ceremonial hall, where Crown Prince Hussein and Alseif exchanged vows in front of 140 guests. After the ceremony, the newlyweds drove to Al Husseiniya Palace for a reception with 1,700 guests.
Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Alseif announced their engagement in August 2022. Queen Rania, praising the bride at a pre-wedding party, called her the perfect match for her son.
