A’ja Wilson is ‘Exhausted’ With Talking About Caitlin Clark

Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson is one of the league’s most talented and accomplished players.

So when she speaks, the WNBA world listens.

On Friday, Wilson spoke to reporters about the Aces’ upcoming game against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.

There’s been a narrative floating around that veteran players, like Wilson, “hate” the arrival of Clark in the WNBA.

Wilson shut that narrative down with a passionate rant alongside Aces head coach Becky Hammon during their joint media availability on Friday.

The two-time league MVP said she’s “exhausted” with all the talk about Clark.

“She’s learning and growing just like everyone else. People don’t give her a chance,” Wilson said. “We tell our rookies every single day: this is new, you’re coming into a whole new world and starting over.

“The questions are only annoying because she’s young. She’s a rookie. Ya’ll keep asking us these questions as if she’s a grown ass woman who’s been in this league for years… I’m just exhausted with the conversation, and I know she’s exhausted. I can only imagine.”
