The Indiana Fever, led by Caitlin Clark, just secured their third victory after an 85-83 win over the last-placed Washington Mystics. The Fever move to 3-9 on the 2024 WNBA season.
After a few days rest, Clark had a fantastic performance in the win. The former Iowa Hawkeye scored 30 points on 8 of 15 shooting, including seven three-pointers. Clark also tallied eight rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Aliyah Boston added 10 points and six rebounds.
Towards the end of the game, Boston missed two critical free throws, which would have sealed the win. Instead, fans were biting their nails up until the very end. Boston is now facing intense scrutiny from fans for her performance.

Boston was a perfect four of four on free throws before the last two in clutch time. She is averaging 77% on the season as well. Just a simple case of water finding it’s level, but it came at the worst time.
