Despite securing a win on Thursday night against the Atlanta Dream, the Indiana Fever are still struggling during the 2024 WNBA season.

And Fever head coach Christie Sides often takes a lot of heat for her team starting 4-10.

While nothing has been said about her potentially being on the hot seat, a recent TikTok video has surfaced that suggests Sides may soon be replaced — by none other than Caitlin Clark’s former head coach.

A TikTok user posted on Thursday that she knows someone who knows someone that saw Indiana Fever owner Herb Simon and former Iowa head coach Lisa Bluder having lunch together in Iowa.

While this is only a rumor, the post has fans believing that Sides is a few losses away from being fired.

“Somebody getting fired,” one fan wrote.

“I kept saying, Lisa is not going to sit back and watch [Caitlin Clark] get destroyed,” said another.

It was also mentioned in the video that the current Drake University women’s coach was at the meeting; which has some fans believing that she could take the Fever job, if Bluder doesn’t want it.

Indianda’s next few games might decide Sides’ coaching future.
