LeBron James begged by wife Savannah to stop embarrassing public behavior at WNBA game
If “I can’t take you anywhere” was a video, it would be this clip of Savannah James begging LeBron James to stop his embarrassing behavior at the Las Vegas Aces vs New York Liberty WNBA game on Saturday.
LeBron’s viral moment with Savannah James
The couple got exposed on the big screen in Las Vegas, smoothies and all, in the middle of a moment where LeBron was trying to do the right thing, but embarrassed Savannah in the process.
She was visibly annoyed with her husband of 11 years when he made an imaginary “crown” gesture over her head, showing her off as his “queen.” She got shy and said “stop” multiple times and waved her hand at him, although she didn’t seem that bothered by the cute gesture despite her outward appearance.
The James family had their public disagreement in front of the huge crowd on hand at Michelob ULTRA Arena to watch the rematch of the 2023 WNBA Finals on the league’s rivalry weekend. The theme continued Sunday with the box office showdown between Caitlin Clark‘s Indiana Fever and Angel Reese‘s Chicago Sky.
James family overflowing with drama
It wasn’t the only “drama” in the Los Angeles Lakers family over the weekend, as their son Bryce James ruined the family plans on his 17th birthday.
It may not be the last we hear of the adorable moment between LeBron and Savannah, as both now have thriving podcasts. LeBron’s co-host on Mind The Game, JJ Redick, is deep in talks to be his next head coach of the Lakers as tension builds ahead of James’ looming decision whether or not to pick up his player option in LA.
If all that wasn’t enough family drama, King James’ big decision will also likely be shaped by whether or not the Lakers draft his other son, Bronny James, in the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft.
