Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley Keough switched things up ahead of her 35th birthday by dyeing her lush hair dark brown. She showed off the look last November at the Academy’s Women Luncheon, where America Ferrera, Kristen Stewart, and Lily-Rose Depp were in attendance.
Riley has been on a roll with her locks since last year, going blonde, auburn, and even coppery red for her role as Daisy Jones in Prime Video’s Daisy Jones & the Six. Hair stylist Maryann Hennings noted that changing her hair color was important to the project, and upon completion, Riley went jet black.
Fans react to Riley Keough’s new hair color, reminiscent of late mom Lisa Marie Presley

Fans thought Riley looked so much like her late mother with her new hair color choice, and they did not hold back on complimenting her on social media. “She looks so much like her mom, omg,” someone gushed. “I can see Lisa in her,” another added, throwing in a heart emoji.
A few argued that Riley looks much better with lighter hair, but most agreed that she looked gorgeous. A troll also called her out on her tattoos, saying they “destroyed” her look; however, a few users came to her defense. The actress has a total of six tattoos, one of which is a tribute to her late brother, Benjamin Keough.
Turning 35
To celebrate hitting her mid-thirties, Riley took to Instagram with random clips and photos featuring her on the set of Under the Bridge, in a black bodysuit, with her castmates, and being all-around goofy. She signaled her followers to check out the series finale on Hulu while announcing that her birthday was near.

Fans wished a happy birthday in advance in the comments and commended her acting on the show as well. “HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY CUTENESS!! You did so well,” a user wrote. Riley’s anniversary comes after a legal battle to save her grandfather’s Graceland estate against a fraudulent sale. “You are a very strong woman who despite everything has a smile on her face, you are an example of a strong woman and a powerful woman,” another fan wrote to encourage her.
