Shereé Whitfield was hit with backlash after the reality star appeared in a couple of posts shared on Simon Guobadia’s Instagram page. Fans accused the “messy,” Real Housewives of Atlanta star of trying to cozy up to Porsha Williams’ estranged husband, amid the pair’s contentious divorce.
The 54-year-old raised eyebrows across social media after she was snapped happily “breaking bread” with Porsha’s ex.
Simon wrote alongside a group pic of himself, Shereé, and two others — “Great breaking bread with good and loyal friends.”
Simon, 59, captioned a second post featuring a video filmed by Shereé — “A good time was had. Good people o.”
Porsha and Simon tied the knot in two lavish ceremonies, in late 2022. Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024. That same month, Bravo announced that the popular reality star would be returning to RHOA for Season 16 as part of a larger deal that included “scripted project opportunities across the company’s broadcast and streaming properties.”
Several users took to the comment section to share their thoughts on Shereé socializing with Porsha’s soon-to-be ex-husband.
On fan quipped — “Sheree got next.”
Another said of the upcoming RHOA season — “This season is gonna [be] messsssssyyyyyyyyyy and I’m here for all of it.”
One user took a shot at the Bravo star’s “new face,” and others called out Simon for referring to Shereé as “loyal.”
One viewer pointed out that Porsha and Simon seemingly got together while he was still married to former cast “friend,” Falynn Guobadia.
The user asked — “Is Sheree pulling a Porsha move?”
Simon addressed the social media chatter the next day, posting a message that read—”If Sharing My Life’s Journey in Real Time Irritates Your Soul, ‘Unfollow’ with alacrity.”
He captioned the post — “I pray you find peace in your expeditious exit.”
Shereé appeared to confirm that she had secured a cast spot for Season 16 in a separate post.
She captioned a full body selfie — “SHE gets her way,” adding the hashtag “no discounts given.”
Shereé’s rumored ex, Martell Holt, heated up the post’s comment section, writing — “Mrs. Holt…🔥🔥🔥.”
Porsha and Shereé appeared to be on friendly terms during a joint appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” in June 2023. Shereé encouraged Porsha’s return to the show, despite being left off her former cast mate’s wedding guest list.
“I mean, the guest list started to get out of control, to be honest with you,” Porsha told host, Andy Cohen, at the time.
Shereé pointedly quipped — “I did not make the cut.”
