Caitlin Clark has been playing in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever for about a month now, and she continues to sell out crowds wherever she plays. Friday night was no exception.

The Fever secured their third win of the season after a close 85-83 battle with the winless Washington Mystics. The attendance in the nation’s capital hit 20,333, which is the highest for a WNBA game in over 20 years. Clark had a lot to do with this.

Following the game, Clark’s teammate, Kelsey Mitchell, spoke to the media about playing in front of this large of a crowd. She gave an honest review on playing with Clark in the process.

I’m playing alongside this kid (points to Clark), so it makes everything, you know, a little more dramatic and, like, they prefer coming out to see this person. We just do what we can. We embrace it,” Mitchell said.

Clark, Mitchell, and the Fever will enjoy the rest of the weekend off before getting back to action on Monday, June 10, against the Connecticut Sun.
